Delta State University (DELSU) Diploma Admission Form for 2020/2021: Delta State University (DELSU) Centre for Continuing Education Programmes (CCEP) is now selling application forms for admission into its Regular Diploma programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates into the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka Regular Diploma programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session.

DELSU Diploma Available Courses & Requirements.

General Requirements:

Applicants must possess a minimum of four (4) credits at not more than two sittings in the GCE O/L, NECO SSC or WASC, NABTEB or its equivalent.  Candidates are also expected to fulfil the specific Departmental requirements for their various courses of choice.

Specific Requirements:

Agricultural Science Educationa. Minimum of four (4) O/L credits pass including English Language, Mathematics and either Chemistry, Agricultural Science or Biology and one of Geography/ Economics.

b.   Minimum of four (4) O/L credits pass including English Language, Mathematics, and either Chemistry, Agricultural Science or Biology and any one of Geography or Economics

2Biology EducationMinimum of four (4) O/L credits pass including Mathematics, Biology and English Language.
3Business EducationMinimum of four (4) O/L credits pass including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and one other subject OR Associateship Certificate in Education/Accounting/Business Administration /Marketing/ Secretarial Studies awarded by an approved Institution of Higher Learning.
4Chemistry EducationMinimum of four (4) O/L credits pass including Mathematics and Chemistry, with a credit in English Language.
5Computer Science Educationa. Minimum of four (4) O/L credits pass including English Language and Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

b. Minimum of four Merits in TC II, including English Language and Maths and any other two Science subjects.

6Early Childhood Educationa.  Minimum of four (4) O/L credits pass in including English Language & Maths.

b.  Minimum of four (4) Merits in TC II, including English Language and Maths.

7Economics EducationMinimum of four (4) O/L credits pass in including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and one of Geography or Government. (b) A minimum of four Merits in TC II, including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and either of Geography or Government.
8Geography Educationa.   Minimum of four (4) O/L credits pass in including English Language, Mathematics, Geography, and at least one of Economics or Government.

b.   A minimum of four Merits in TC II, including English Language and Mathematics, Geography, and at least one of Economics or Government.

9Guidance & Counselling Educationa.   Minimum of four (4) O/L credits pass including English Language and Mathematics, Government or History. (b) A minimum of four Merits in TC II, including English Language and Mathematics, Government or History.
10Health, Safety & Environmental Educationa.   Minimum of four (4) O/L credits pass including English Language, Mathematics and one Science subject from Biology/Health Science, Agricultural Science, Chemistry and Physics and one other subject.
11Hotel & Catering Management Educationa.   Minimum of four (4) O/L credits pass including English Language, Mathematics, Biology & any of Food and Nutrition or Home Management, & Chemistry.

b.   (b) TC II with at least Merit passes in four subjects as required in (a) above and credit passes in Mathematics and General Science.

12Human Kinetics, Recreation & Sports Science Educationa.   Minimum of four (4) O/L credits pass including English Language, Maths & Biology or Health Science OR minimum of four Merits in TC II, including English Language, Mathematics,  Physical Education & any other subject.

b.  Holders of Associateship Certificate in Education.

13Integrated Science Educationa.  Minimum of four (4) O/L credits pass including English Language, Maths, Biology and Chemistry.

b.  Minimum of four(4) Merits in TC II in the relevant Science subjects, English Language and Mathematics as indicated in (a) above.

14Library Science Educationa.   Minimum of four (4) O/L credits pass including English Language & Maths

b.   A minimum of four (4) Merits in TC II, including English Language & Maths.

c.   Any other equivalent qualification acceptable to Senate as in (a) and (b) above

15Mathematics EducationMinimum of four (4) O/L credits pass including Mathematics, Chemistry or Physics and English Language.

 

16Physics Educationa.   Minimum of four (4) O/L credits pass including English Language, Mathematics and Physics, and any other subject.
17Political Science Educationa.   Minimum of four (4) O/L credits pass including English Language and Mathematics, Government or History and one other Arts or Science subjects.

b.   A minimum of four Merits in TC II, including English Language and Mathematics, Government or History and one other Arts or Science subject.

18Secretarial Studies Educationa.  Minimum of four (4) O/L credits pass including English Language, Mathematics, Economics or Commerce and one other subject.

b.  Associateship Certificate in Education/Accounting/Business Administration/ Secretarial Studies awarded by an approved Institution of Higher Learning.

19Social Studies Educationa.     Minimum of four (4) O/L credits pass including English Language and Mathematics and any two of Economics, Government, History, Geography, CRS or Commerce.

b.     Minimum of four Merits in TC II, including English Language and Mathematics and any two of Economics, Government or History Geography, CRS or Commence.

20Technical Educationa.   Minimum of four (4) O/L credits pass including English Language, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry and any other Arts/Social Science/Science subjects.

How To Apply For DELSU Diploma Admission Form.

Candidates are required to visit https://portal.delsu.edu.ng/ to generate virtual pin of N15,000.00 (Fifteen Thousand Naira) only payable at any of: Ecobank, Unity Bank, Zenith Bank or UBA banks.

PROCEDURE TO GENERATE VIRTUAL PIN

i) Visit https://portal.delsu.edu.ng/

ii) Click online registration

iii) Click Start

(iv) Click Diploma Programme

(v) Click Start

(vi) Submit the form and generate pin

(vii) Print out the pin generated

(viii) Visit the specified bank for payment.

(viii) Candidates should with the payment pin (valid for six (6) hours only) access and complete the Delta State University, Abraka, 2020/2021 Diploma Form online at https://portal.delsu.edu.ng/ with their recent coloured passport sized photograph (JPEG format & 20kb in size).

(ix) Candidates are advised to use virtual pin immediately after payment, as the pin will be invalid after six (6) hours of generation.

(x) Candidates are advised to read the instructions on the front page of the website before completing the form.

(xi) Candidates are required to come to the examination venue with the following:

  •  a copy of the Print-out of completed online confirmation of application;
  • two recent passport-sized colour photographs with full names of candidates & signature on the reversed side of photographs;
  • four-figure table (where applicable), biro, HB pencil and eraser.

NOTE:

  • Candidates are to log in ONLY the courses they chose for the Diploma programme.
  • GSM phones are not allowed.
  • Parents, guardians and well-wishers will not be allowed to stay around the venue of the examination.
  • Any person caught impersonating will be handed over to the Police and the candidates impersonated will automatically be disqualified.
  • All Candidates with four (4) Credits are advised to make up the relevant five (5) Credits at the end of the programme to enable them qualify for the degree programme.

Online application starts: Monday, 26th August, 2020 and closes: Midnight on Friday, 4th November, 2020.
